Prior to consulting, Ray has held senior leadership positions in both international and domestic non-governmental institutions in charge of compliance and grants and contracts departments. He has more than 16 years in nonprofit experience. His extensive experience includes a wide range of USG funding agencies as well as a number of private donor organizations. Ray has trained staff on policy and procedures, ethics and other operations specialties with a focus on the nonprofit sector. Ray has supported organizations undergoing compliance, risk, and fraud investigations by external donors or regulatory agencies. His experience is achieving superior performance by designing and implementing operational systems and recommending internal controls to reduce costs, increase efficiencies, accuracy and compliance. Ray has worked in non-profit organizations in diverse sectors relief services, health, education, organizational capacity building, and agricultural.
