Mia Watson-Good, Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer County of San Diego, Office of Ethics, Compliance and Labor Standards (OECLS) Mia Watson-Good is the Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer with the County of San Diego's Office of Ethics, Compliance, and Labor Standards. Mia is elevating ethics and compliance programming for the County of San Diego government entity and setting a new standard for ethics and compliance internal investigations. Before joining the County, she was at AMN Healthcare as the lead Compliance Regulatory Analyst for Crisis Licensure and Regulation, specifically tracking COVID-19 federal and state regulatory changes for healthcare professionals and services and coordinating licensure requirements and training for FEMA-East vaccination events. While at AMN Healthcare, Mia was the ethics and compliance (E&C) program manager and developed enterprise-wide and tailored E&C training. Also, Mia is a retired U.S. Naval Intelligence Officer. Her passion for doing the right thing has been constant throughout her professional career. Mia is a certified ethics and compliance professional and a Santa Clara University School of Law graduate with a Master of Legal Studies in Corporate Compliance. As a north San Diego county resident, she lives halfway to L.A. with daughter Megan, dogs Tiny Tim “Timmy” and Blu, and a whole lot of box turtles.
