Lisa Fine is Senior Counsel, and Director, Compliance, for Pearson, which is a leader in learning and education globally. In this role, Lisa is responsible for compliance activities globally, including anti-bribery and anti-corruption compliance and training, investigations, risk assessments and third-party due diligence. She has extensive experience with implementing and managing global employee helplines and whistleblower programs, and with employment compliance issues. Prior to joining Pearson, Lisa was the Director, Global Compliance at gategroup, which is the parent company for Gate Gourmet, the largest independent airline caterer) and an attorney in both the private and non-profit sectors. Lisa is also one of the co-founders of the "Great Women in Compliance" podcast, which she co-hosts with Mary Shirley. This weekly podcast and focuses on the diversity of the compliance community and the women who make up our profession (and others who support women in compliance). Lisa and Mary are also co-authors of "Sending the Elevator Back Down: What We've Learned from Great Women in Compliance" (CCI Press, 2020). Lisa received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her undergraduate agree from Tufts University.
