Jay Cohen is a Senior Advisor to the Compliance Systems Legal Group (CSLG) and Of Counsel to the law firm of Giordano Halleran & Ciesla. Jay was a Managing Director in the Risk Advisory practice at Deloitte, where he helped companies in insurance and other industries develop and strengthen their compliance programs. In addition to Deloitte, Jay has more than 20-years experience as a compliance professional, including roles as the Chief Compliance Officer for insurance, health-care and information-services organizations. Jay served in a number of positions in New York City and State Government, including First Deputy District Attorney in the Brooklyn District Attorneys Office and Deputy Commissioner of Criminal Justice for New York State. He earned his B.A. from The George Washington University and his Juris Doctor from Yale Law School.
