Deborah Penza

Deborah Penza is the SVP, Chief Compliance Officer for Syneos Health Inc. and possesses over 30 years of experience as both a consultant and a compliance professional developing, implementing and operating global compliance programs in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. She is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of Syneos’s ethics and compliance program and strategy. Ms. Penza joined Syneos from Hikma Pharmaceuticals where she was the Group Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to joining Hikma, Ms. Penza served in Chief Compliance Officer roles at Melinta Therapeutics, LLC, Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC (formerly Impax Laboratories, Inc.), Actavis plc (now AbbVie), and Elan Corporation, plc. Before joining Elan, she was a Vice President of Strategic Management Systems, Inc., where she developed and implemented compliance programs for healthcare clients and provided guidance on compliance program management. Ms. Penza received her Juris Doctorate from the George Mason University School of Law, and she possesses a Master of Arts from The George Washington University. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Florida Atlantic University.
