Chris Whicker is the Director of Corporate Compliance at Duke Energy. He has over 27 years of utility industry experience in customer service, insurance, finance, and compliance. In his current role, Chris leads the corporate compliance program which includes the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), state regulatory requirements, Data Privacy, Records and Information Management (RIM), federal contracting, and policy management. In addition to governance, oversight, and monitoring of regulatory requirements, he is responsible for the development of targeted and effective training for implicated areas. He also manages the administration of OpenPages (GRC tool) which tracks and assigns ownership of compliance requirements
